​​SWAN VALLEY STAMPEDERS PARTNER WITH HARD DRIVE HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT FOR THE 2025-26 SEASON

The Swan Valley Stampeders are excited to announce their partnership with Hard Drive Hockey Development (HDHD) for the upcoming season.

Locally based, HDHD provides hockey training for all ages and skill levels in the Parkland and surrounding area. It is run by instructor Dallas Anderson, who originally hails from Bowsman, MB.

No stranger to the local hockey community, the league and the team, Anderson played four years in the MJHL. He was the first player drafted to the Swan Valley Stampeders in their inaugural year, ending his Junior career by playing with his hometown team.

He went on to play seven seasons in professional and minor leagues, including the ECHL, CHL, UHL and WPHL. He participated in two NHL training camps with the Edmonton Oilers in 2002 and 2003 and was under contract with the AHL Houston Aeros during the 2004-05 season.

A third-generation hockey coach, Anderson brings a unique approach to the sport. His long hockey history has provided him with valuable experience and he is excited to pass his knowledge on to young developing players.

He is certified as a Development 1 Level Coach and is currently in the process of becoming a Hockey Canada Certified Skills Coach.

“I started HDHD three years ago, training Parkland U15/U18 AAA, High School Hockey and U15 players who train with me three days a week during school hours and, in turn, earn a high school credit,” said Anderson. “Several of my students have moved on to the Junior ranks and beyond.  “I’m excited to help the next wave of Stampeder players achieve their hockey goals.” Anderson will work with Stampeders players several times a week to refine their skills in all aspects of hockey development.

“We are excited to have Dallas work with our players,” said Stampeders Head Coach Josh Tripp. “He knows what it takes to be an elite athlete at this level and our players will gain a lot from his coaching.”

​​​​​HARD DRIVE HOCKEY ACADEMY

​We have combined a select group of local AAA U15/U18 athletes along with other likeminded High School hockey and U15 students to create the Hard Drive Hockey Academy. This is a first of it's kind for the area where student athletes are permitted on ice training during school hours. Hard Drive, in conjunction with the SVRSS have implemented a program where on ice training/hours converts to a high school credit. Hard Drive Hockey Development will provide on ice skill training along with special guest coaches and Stampeder Junior players. We are very excited to begin our journey with this special group. Program runs mid October through mid March, three days a week Tues.-Thurs. from 8:30am-9:30am in Swan River.  Please email for more information.
